North Carolina is the state to donate your wonderful
collectibles. We all have those collectibles that we need to go through and
get rid of, but we just don’t have the time or we just can’t seem to muster
up the motivation to do so. And it’s a shame, because North Carolina is a
state rich and history and it has the collectibles to prove it. Did you know
that North Carolina is one of the original thirteen colonies and the home to
the first English? In 1861 it became the last of the Confederate states and
was readmitted in July 1868 back into the union. Just think about all of the
collectibles that portray this rich heritage.

Donating collectibles, any collectibles, such as art paintings, figurines,
jewelry, Emerald jewelry (which just so happens to be the state gemstone),
dolls, antiques, or even memorabilia items, will give one a chance to give
back to our world with abounding collectibles. Other items that you may wish
to donate include Civil War memorabilia, African art, sculptures,
collectible coins, stamps, antique toys and glassware. I would like to end
on this final note: The state motto for North Carolina is “Esse Quam Videri”
which means “To be, rather than to seem.” So the challenge is to donate
North Carolina collectibles and help the community, rather than merely
making a show of helping the community. |
